In order to implement the spirit of general secretary's important speech that "exploring the deep earth is a strategic scientific and technological problem that we must solve", the Institute of Energy of Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center insisted on "four orientations" and decided to set up a "Deep Earth Science and Engineering Center".
