The first compact ring device (EAST-CT) for feeding the core of medium and large Tokamak in the world completed the first plasma discharge on February 4, which indicated that the compact ring device had successfully achieved the phased key objective after 7 months of design, construction, installation and testing. The device will be tested on EAST (Oriental Super Ring Tokamak) to lay a solid foundation for the verification of new core charging technology for future fusion reactors such as CFETR.

2月4日，国际首套面向中大型托卡马克芯部加料的紧凑环装置（EAST-CT）完成了首次等离子体放电。这标志着紧凑环装置在经历7个月的设计、建造、安装及测试后，圆满实现了阶段性关键目标。该装置将在EAST（东方超环托卡马克）上进行测试，为未来聚变堆如CFETR验证新的芯部加料技术奠定坚实基础。
