On December 2, 2020, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) issued a document (GKJFJ [2020] No. 88), approving Institute of Energy of Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center (Anhui Energy Laboratory) (hereinafter referred to as Institute of Energy) to be registered as the supporting unit of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

2020年12月2日，国家自然科学基金委员会下发文件（国科金发计〔2020〕88号），批准合肥综合性国家科学中心能源研究院（安徽省能源实验室）（以下简称能源研究院）注册为国家自然科学基金依托单位。
