In order to plan and promote the development of the province’s hydrogen energy industry from a high starting point, Liu Hui, a member of the Standing Committee of the provincial Party committee and executive vice-governor, presided over a forum on the development of the province’s hydrogen energy industry on the morning of December 10. As the chairman unit of Anhui Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Alliance, Institute of Energy of Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center participated in the forum on invitation and Academician Li Jiangang, Director of Institute of Energy of Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center, delivered a speech at the forum. Together with Liu Hui, executive vice governor of Anhui Province, Academician Li Jiangang unveiled  Anhui Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Alliance.

Executive Vice-Governor Liu Hui stressed in his concluding speech that we should deeply study and implement the thought of ecological civilization under the guidance of Xi Jinping’s thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and accelerate the development of hydrogen energy industry in the province in accordance with the deployment of the 11th provincial Party Congress so as to achieve the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutralization. We should strengthen planning and guidance, scientifically prepare the development plan of hydrogen energy industry in the province, and clarify the development objectives, development direction and key tasks of hydrogen energy industry. We should strengthen scientific and technological research, deepen political, industry, University and research cooperation, and break through a number of key core technologies. We should strengthen investment attraction so as to accurately introduce target enterprises, cultivate and expand leading enterprises in the existing industrial chain, and build a whole industrial chain covering hydrogen energy preparation, storage and transportation, filling, application and other links. We should strengthen the promotion and application. We should give play to the role of market guidance and policy incentives and accelerate the application of hydrogen energy in transportation, energy storage, industry and other fields.
