On the afternoon of May 23, 2022, Anhui Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the "Alliance") held its first council meeting at the Institute of Energy of Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Institute of Energy"). The meeting was held online and offline simultaneously. More than 20 representatives, including President of the Alliance, president of the Institute of Energy, Academician Li Jiangang of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Jiang Haihe, counselor of Anhui Provincial Government, Liu Wenfeng, director of Industrial Development Division of Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and Wang Chaoyun, chairman of Mingtian Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd., attended the meeting at the main venue in Hefei, and other representatives attended in their own units via video.

The meeting deliberated and voted on the following matters: First, it deliberated and adopted the Constitution of the Alliance and the Alliance Action Plan and 2022 Work Plan; The second is the selection of the chairman, vice-chairman, standing director, 24 governing units and 22 member units of the Alliance. The Institute of Energy was elected as the chairman unit of the Alliance. Third, the first batch of 15 members of the Alliance Committee of Experts were elected. Comrade Jiang Haihe, counselor of the Anhui Provincial Government and former vice-president of Hefei Institute of Material Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, served as the director of the Committee of Experts. Comrade Wang Changjian, director of the Institute of New Energy Safety Application Technology of Hefei University of Technology and director of the Anhui Hydrogen Safety International Joint Research Center, served as the deputy director. Fourthly, the list of candidates for the secretary general, deputy executive secretary general and deputy secretary general of the Alliance Secretariat was reviewed and approved, with Hu Haomin, vice president of the Institute of Energy, as the secretary general, and Li Shihang, deputy general manager of Mingtian Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd., as the deputy executive secretary general.

At the meeting, the "Preparatory Plan for the First All-member Conference of the Alliance" was discussed, the relevant contents of the Alliance website were demonstrated on the spot, and the delegates at the meeting put forward good opinions and suggestions.

After completing the agenda of the Council, Jiang Haihe, director of the Committee of Experts of the Alliance, made a statement and put forward the future work ideas and priorities of the Committee. Liu Wenfeng, director of the Industrial Development Division of Provincial Development and Reform Commission, introduced the development plan of hydrogen energy industry in Anhui Province, and the next working ideas and priorities, and put forward hopes and requirements for the construction and development of the alliance. Finally, academician Li Jiangang, chairman of the Alliance, pointed out in his concluding speech that he hoped the Alliance would become a link and bridge between the government, universities and colleges, enterprises, experts, industry funds, etc., give full play to the Alliance's role in strategic consulting, technical services, collaborative research and other aspects, and strive to provide policy, project, technology, capital and other services for member enterprises to help the high-quality development of Anhui hydrogen energy industry. The league secretariat should conscientiously perform its functions, regularly organize and hold league meetings, high-end forums and other activities, and effectively serve the member units.
