On the morning of June 13, this Institute and Sichuan Jiu Tian Vacuum Technology Co.,Ltd.(CBVAK) held a signing ceremony in Nanchong, Sichuan for the signing of Tritium-compatible Vacuum Valve Technology Development Agreement and the listing of Tritium-compatible Vacuum Equipment Joint Laboratory. Researcher Hu Jiansheng, Deputy Director of ASIPP, researcher Zuo Guizhong, Deputy Director of Tokamak Experiment Science Division, ASIPP, Senior Consultant Ren Xiaoshu of the Institute of Energy, Shi Yi, member of the Standing Committee of Nanchong Municipal Committee and Party Group of the Municipal Government, Yang Fan, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Party Secretary of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, Zhang Guangquan, Secretary of the County Party Committee of Xichong County, Li Li, Deputy County Magistrate, Yang Guohua, Director of the County Education and Sports Bureau, and Feng Xiaoqin, Deputy Director of such Bureau, attended the signing and listing ceremony. Middle-level and above managements of Sichuan Jiu Tian Vacuum Technology Co.,Ltd. participated in the activity.
Before the ceremony, Hu Jiansheng, Deputy Director of ASIPP, accompanied by Yu Ke, Vice President of Zhongke Jiuwei Holdings Group, visited the CBVAK digital production workshop to learn about the company’s production and operation and technology research and development.
The signing and listing ceremony was presided over by Li Li, Deputy County Magistrate of the County People’s Government. Yu Ke delivered a speech and introduced the CBVAK science and technology innovation and the research and development of vacuum key core technologies. Hu Jiansheng introduced the strategic significance of nuclear fusion research, and the research achievements in the field of fusion energy made by ASIPP and our Institute. He was full of confidence for this cooperation, and hoped that the joint laboratory would speed up the solution of the possible bottleneck problem of key vacuum technology products of fusion reactors in the future and provide technical support for the future development of nuclear fusion.
Zhang Guangquan pointed out in his speech that as an agricultural county, the vacuum industry is an important support for Xichong County to break through the “vacuum” of industrial development. The County will vigorously implement the development strategy of manufacture power county, effortlessly develop high-end equipment manufacturing (vacuum) industry, and ensure the development of vacuum industry. Shi Yi emphasized that the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government attach great importance to scientific and technological innovation, insist on leading high-quality development with innovation, vigorously implement the innovation-driven development strategy, and fully promote the deep integration of Industry-University-Research. It was hoped that this will be an opportunity to drive the city’s scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation to a new level.

It is the layout exploration of Institute of Energy in nuclear fusion industry to jointly build a joint laboratory with CBVAK. Through joint research and development, it will promote the high-quality development of vacuum technology and industry in China.
