From May 28 to 29, Liu Yu, Chairman of China Green Development Group, a central enterprise, and Sun Yu, General Manager, led a team to the Energy Research Institute for an inspection and research visit. They were accompanied by Academician Li Jiangang, Director of the Energy Research Institute, Yan Jianwen, Executive Director, and Hu Haomin, Vice President. The delegation toured the EAST device and the fusion exhibition hall, inspected the CRAFT park and the No. 1 experimental workshop of the Energy Research Institute, and participated in a symposium focused on in-depth discussions about potential cooperation in the new energy sector and the exploration of specific collaborative directions.
Chairman Liu Yu and Academician Li Jiangang highlighted the strong alignment between China Green Development Group and the Energy Research Institute in terms of development philosophy and strategic focus within the new energy domain. They emphasized the potential for both parties to capitalize on their respective strengths, collaborate, and innovate together. They proposed to engage in extensive cooperation on energy technologies, including fusion and ammonia energy, with the aim of advancing research and industrialization of green and low-carbon energy technologies, thereby supporting the growth of China's new energy industry. Moving forward, both parties will delve into the specifics of potential cooperation areas and modalities to expedite the implementation of collaborative projects.
