Deng Xiangyang, deputy secretary and vice chairman of the Party Group of Anhui CPPCC, visited Institute of Energy and the Fusion Reactor Main Engine Key System Complex Park on the spot on Dec. 14. He also visited Song Yuntao, who is a member of CPPCC Provincial Committee and the executive director of Institute of Energy. Jiang Liuwu,deputy secretary general and director of the general office of the CPPCC Provincial Committee, Han Bing, chairman of the municipal CPPCC, Xi Zhiying, Yao Yamei, vice chairwomen of the municipal CPPCC and Li Shu, secretary-general of the municipal CPPCC accompanied the visit.

Deng Xiangyang and his party listened to Song Yuntao’s report on the deployment of key projects of the Institute of Energy, breakthroughs in innovative technologies, giving play to the advantages of system and mechanism and collaborative innovation as a new R & D institution, accelerating the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the process of internationalization. He had a detailed understanding of the progress of the fusion reactor main engine key system complex project and affirmed the progress made by the Institute of Energy and the Fusion Reactor Main Engine Key System Complex Project.

Since Institute of Energy was established in December 2019, it has built platforms, established mechanisms, introduced talents, worked together to tackle key problems and it has achieved phased results. In the future, Institute of Energy will give full play to its advantages in the research fields, actively strengthen the research and development of key technologies, and provide strong support for the province to achieve the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutralization on schedule.
