Wang Cheng, chairman of Conch Group, led a team to visit the Institute of Energy on December 17. Academician Li Jiangang of Institute of Energy, executive director Song Yuntao and deputy director Hu Haomin of Institute of Energy, and Huang Suzhen, head of General Office, and Kong Defeng, head of Scientific Development Section, participated in the meeting.  

The meeting focused on the goals of carbon peak and carbon neutralization. Participants had full exchanges on the two topics of original industrial upgrading and new energy industry layout. 

According to Chairman Wang Cheng, Conch Group will focus on new energy, carbon emission reduction, industrial Internet and other fields in the future. The company will further strengthen enterprise R & D investment and build itself into an enterprise with more core competitiveness.

According to Academician Li Jiangang, Institute of Energy will give full play to its own advantages to empower enterprises and help the development of cement industry with new energy and new materials. The Institute will integrate various resources, explore a new model of comprehensive energy reform and innovation and give full play to the role of “experimental field” of reform and innovation.

Green and low-carbon development of energy is the key measure to achieve carbon peak and carbon neutralization. Institute of Energy will make full use of scientific research achievements to promote the integrated innovation and application innovation of energy-saving and low-carbon technologies, promote the application of advanced energy-saving and low-carbon technologies, strive to create a source of scientific and technological innovation in the energy field and help upgrade the traditional industries.
