Recently, the Institute of Energy of Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center was officially included in the entities enjoying the import tax policy of scientific and technological innovation, as publicized by the Department of Science and Technology of Anhui Province.

According to the requirements of the Notice by the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs and the State Taxation Administration of the Import Tax Policies for Supporting Scientific and Technological Innovations during the “14th Five-Year Plan” Period (No. 23 [2021] of the Ministry of Finance) and the Notice by the Ministry of Finance, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the National Development and Reform Commission and other 8 Authorities of the Measures for the Administration of Import Tax Policies Supporting Scientific and Technological Innovations during the “14th Five-Year Plan” Period (No. 24 [2021] of the Ministry of Finance), as well as the regulations of Measures for the Verification of the List of Entities Enjoying the Import Tax Policy on Science, Technology and Innovation Imports (No.16 [2021] of the Department of Science and Technology of Anhui Province) issued by the Department of Science and Technology of Anhui Province, Department of Civil Affairs of Anhui Province, Anhui Provincial Department of Finance, Hefei Customs District P.R. China, and the Anhui Provincial Tax Service, State Taxation Administration, the Department of Science and Technology of Anhui Province has carried out the verification of the declaration of entities enjoying the import tax policy on scientific and technological innovation. After the procedures of reporting, condition review, meeting research and publicity, our Institute was admitted as an entity enjoying the import tax policy of scientific and technological innovation.

Next, the Institute will make reasonable use of this advantage to apply for tax preference in accordance with the policy, which will further enhance the Institute's scientific and technological innovation capabilities.
