The Scientific Research Section of Institute of Energy of Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center (hereinafter referred to as Institute of Energy) held the progress management meeting of the first batch of scientific research projects on July 14. Academician Li Jiangang, director of Institute of Energy, Ding Lijian and Hu Haomin, deputy directors of Institute of Energy, the leaders and key members of the first batch of scientific research projects and personnel of various management sections of the Institute participated in the meeting.
The seven project leaders reported the research progress of the projects and the achievements they had made respectively. The research teams of each project actively carried out research work around the research tasks and made some breakthroughs in the research and development of some key technologies. They have independently developed a set of high-power continuous operation optical pump laser system and high-speed real-time digital phase comparator and have developed a compact ring device (EAST-CT) for feeding the core of East device and realized the first plasma discharge. The Next Generation Power Device Reliability Test Platform and the Coal Clean Utilization and Safety Accurate Intelligent Platform have been successfully built and put into use. So far, the researchers of the first batch of scientific research projects have published 98 papers, applied for 19 invention and utility model patents at home and abroad, applied for 5 software copyrights, and won 2020 Second Prize of Anhui Science and Technology Progress Award.
The participants discussed the problems in the project implementation and the next implementation plans in depth at the meeting. Academician Li Jiangang pointed out that all projects should not only strengthen exchanges and cooperation to achieve synergy, but also pay attention to showing the project results, and actively plan the implementation and transformation of them to create more economic value.
