Recently, the Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center (Anhui Provincial Energy Laboratory) was awarded the honorary title of "Advanced Collective for 2023 Hefei High-Quality Economic Development Contribution Award" by the CPC Hefei Municipal Committee and the Hefei Municipal People’s Government.

Since its establishment, the Institute of Energy has always kept in mind the instructions of the General Secretary, thoroughly implemented the decisions and arrangements of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, and fully carried out the “trinity” integrated development strategy of talent cultivation, scientific and technological innovation, and industrial innovation. The Institute has actively explored new development paths, achieved a series of major breakthroughs in cutting-edge basic research, key core technology tackling, and major platform construction in the energy field, made remarkable progress in serving enterprises and transforming scientific and technological achievements, and realized a “double harvest” in both scientific research and achievement transformation. It has taken solid and powerful steps toward seizing the commanding heights of energy science and technology and serving local economic and social development.

This award is both an affirmation and a motivation.
