On March 3, 2025, the Strategic Cooperation Forum and Signing Ceremony between Hami City and the Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center was successfully held in Hami, Xinjiang. Sun Tao, Secretary of the Hami Municipal Party Committee, and Li Jiangang, Chief Scientist of the Institute and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, attended the forum and delivered speeches. Hu Haomin, Executive Vice President of the Institute, and Hu Dongming, Vice Mayor of the Hami Municipal Government, respectively introduced the progress of relevant work. At the meeting, the People’s Government of Hami City, the Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center, and Shanghai Tiankelong Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly promote the construction of Hami’s green energy base through collaboration among government, industry, academia, and research institutions.
