The R&D project “Compact Ring Pulsed Electromagnetic Valve Power Supply”, commissioned by the Fusion Industry Center of the Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center (Anhui Provincial Energy Laboratory) to Hefei Tiangong Jinglve Technology Co., Ltd. — an incubated enterprise of the Center for Intelligent Power — held its project acceptance review meeting on January 30, 2026, at the Comprehensive Research Facility Park for Key Systems of the Fusion Reactor Host in Luyang District.

During the project acceptance process, the expert team from the Fusion Industry Center conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the project plan and test waveforms, and performed on-site testing of the power supply in conjunction with the compact ring electromagnetic valve. The experts unanimously confirmed that the power supply system meets the application requirements of the valve, with some performance indicators superior to existing solutions, and the project successfully passed acceptance. At the same time, combining practical application scenarios, the experts offered highly targeted valuable opinions and optimization suggestions, providing clear direction for subsequent product improvement.

After the project acceptance, the teams from Hefei Tiangong Jinglve Technology Co., Ltd. and the Fusion Industry Center exchanged views on the application of special power supplies for fusion devices. The Fusion Industry Center fully affirmed and encouraged the professional competence and problem-solving ability demonstrated by the power supply R&D team of Hefei Tiangong Jinglve Technology Co., Ltd. during the development process. They expressed the hope that both sides will further strengthen exchanges and close collaboration in the future, so that efficient and high-quality power conversion can inject stronger momentum into the development of the fusion industry.
