On August 5, 2025, the large-span tower lightning comprehensive observation and positioning monitoring equipment designed by the Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center successfully passed on-site commissioning and acceptance at the Yangtze River large-span section of the Bai-Zhe Line in Chizhou, Anhui.

Recently, the Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center, in collaboration with the Institute of Plasma Physics, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has made important progress in central fueling physics experiments on medium-to-large tokamaks.

On July 5, 2025, witnessed by an expert group, the Negative Ion Source Neutral Beam Injection (NNBI) system of the Comprehensive Research Facility for Key Systems of Fusion Reactor Host (CRAFT), undertaken by the Institute of Plasma Physics, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, passed the internal process test and process acceptance.

The Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center (hereinafter “the Institute”), in collaboration with Anhui Energy Group and Anbang Technology Co., Ltd., successfully developed the “Key Technology and Equipment for Coal-Ammonia Multiphase Mixed Flash Evaporation and Plasma-Enhanced Combustion in Coal-Fired Boilers” after two years of joint research.

The compact Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) system independently developed by the Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center has achieved a major technological breakthrough.

Recently, the first domestic thousand-ton-level modular flexible ammonia synthesis equipment, developed by the Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center (hereinafter “the Institute”), was successfully commissioned in Hefei, Anhui.
