On August 16, 2025, the Institute of Energy, together with China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. and the State Key Laboratory of Rare Metal Special Materials of China Nonferrous East, successfully held the 2nd Working Meeting of the “Joint Laboratory for R&D of High-End Fusion Metal Materials” and the High-End Academic Forum on Superconducting Materials in Shizuishan, Ningxia.

On July 22, 2025, the launch meeting of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) major consulting research project “Exploring the Mechanism of Spin-off Achievements Along the Major Science Projects for Frontier Technology R&D” was successfully held in Hefei.

Currently, as China’s “dual carbon” strategy is implemented in depth, promoting green, low-carbon, clean and efficient new energy propulsion technologies in inland waterway shipping and maritime transport has become a global consensus in the shipping industry and an important future development trend.

To promote independent innovation in key technologies for China’s nuclear fusion sector and address the “bottleneck” issues in high-end vacuum measurement equipment, the Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center and Anhui Wanyi Science and Technology Co., Ltd. jointly held the signing and unveiling ceremony for the “Joint Laboratory for R&D of Key Vacuum Measurement Equipment for Nuclear Fusion”.

To deepen industry-academia-research collaborative innovation and promote scientific and technological innovation as well as industrial upgrading, the Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center and Jiangsu Macmic Science & Technology Co., Ltd. jointly held the signing and unveiling ceremony for the “Joint Laboratory for Reliability Evaluation Methods and Lifetime Prediction of Power Devices”.

Recently, the Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center (hereinafter “the Institute”) and CSSC No. 703 Research Institute signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Harbin.
